Glenda West

A graveside service will be held for Glenda Gayle West at 2:00 pm on Monday, October, 20, 2025, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park.

Mrs. West, 73, was born on April 22, 1953, to George Humphrey and Dorothy Powell in Artesia, New Mexico. She passed away on October 10, 2025 in Glendale, Arizona.

Glenda made her mark in the food industry as a cook and waitress, where her exceptional cooking turned her into a favorite among locals. She was also a long-standing member of the Moose Lodge in Artesia, where she formed numerous friendships and found great joy in the community spirit. Her love and kindness will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Glenda was preceded by her husband, Lonnie West; daughter, Amy Bernal; son, Ralph Moore; mother, Dorothy Powell; and father, George Humphrey.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Roy C. Moore; granddaughter, Rori Moore; grandsons, Jonathan and Zephrey Bernal; and numerous great grandchildren.
