George Holt

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13 at West Main Baptist Church for George Wayne Holt of Artesia.

Mr. Holt, 74, passed away on April 6, 2018 at San Pedro Nursing Facility.

Pastor Jason Kraft and Pastor Mike Spencer will officiate at the service with burial to follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are his friends and staff of San Pedro Nursing Facility.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

George was born on September 20, 1943 in Cottonwood, N.M.; the son of Floyd B. and Eva M. (Martin) Holt.

He was a dishwasher in the kitchen at Cannon Air Force Base for 20 years. He was a member of West Main Baptist Church , enjoyed gardening and was an avid Bulldog fan. George loved all people.

We was preceded in death by his parents, guardians Aunt Sis and Uncle J.C. Walker, brother Roy G. Holt, sister Cathaline Holt and numerous aunts and uncles.
