Gary Campos

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 at Terpening & Son Mortuary Chapel for Gary Gene Campos of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Campos, 59, passed away on January 24, 2018 at San Pedro Nursing Facility.

Pallbearers will be Javier Olivas, Michael Gomez, Orlando Sedellios Jr., Miguel Duran Jr., Luke Olivas and Justin Juarez. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Gonzales, Mike Duran, Orlando Sedellios Sr., and Steven Olivas.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 26 at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Gary was born on May 21, 1958 in Carlsbad, NM; the son of Joe and Mary (Segura) Campos. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was a diesel mechanic and loved working on cars, cooking, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother and sister.

Survivors include his wife Margarita Campos of Artesia; mother Mary Campos of Lake Arthur, NM; son Jason Joe Campos of Artesia; daughters Sara Campos of Lubbock, TX and Ashly Campos of Artesia; sisters Yolanda Burgos of Artesia and Caroline Campos of Lake Arthur; granddaughter Tatyana Campos.
