Francisco Perez

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Francisco "Frankie" Rede Perez of Lubbock, Texas.

Mr. Perez, 80, died November 20, 2018 at his home..

Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rogelio "Tinni" Ortiz, Joe Mata, Tony Perez Jr., Dino Perez Jr. and Michael Perez.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary on Monday from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Francisco was born June 3, 1938 in Artesia, NM; the son of Lorenzo Perez and Francisca (Rede) Perez. On January 1, 1967 he married Augustina Ortiz om El Paso, TX. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2018.

He was an equipment operator with Lubbock Power and Light and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lubbock. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing Bingo and visiting with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Manuel Perez, Apolonio Perez and Jose Perez, sister-in-laws Juanita Perez, Gloria Perez, and Delia Perez.

Survivors include his son Danny Perez and wife Veronica of Albuquerque, NM; daughters Barbara Valenzuela and husband Oscar of Artesia, Susie Gonzales and husband Emilio of Artesia and Thelma Cruz and husband Carlos of Lubbock; brothers Dionysio Perez and wife Ophelia of Atwater, CA, Luz Perez and wife Josefina of Tucson, AZ, and Lewis Perez of Hobbs, NM; sisters Mary Sanchez and husband Leno of Artesia and Toni Moreno of Rangely, CO; 15 grandchildren, 33great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
