Fabian Ochoa

Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Fabian "Chapo" Ochoa of Artesia, New Mexico. Burial to follow at woodbine cemetery.

Mr. Ochoa, 35, died October 27, 2018 at Artesia General Hospital.

Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services with burial to will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chesarae Ochoa, Jeff Ochoa, Damian Ochoa,Chris Montes, David Baca, Mario Martinez, John Guajardo and Israel Valencia.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 5th. A rosary will be recited Tuesday November 6th at Our Lady of Grace at 9:30 a.m.

Fabian was born November 26, 1982 in Artesia N.M. to Guadalupe Ochoa and Maria (Grado) Ochoa.

He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. He liked making people laugh and had a smile that could light up a room.

He is survived by his parents Guadalupe Ochoa and Maria Grado of Artesia. Brothers Anjel,Julian, and Santos Ochoa of Artesia. Twin sister Vanessa Madrid and husband Miguel Madrid of Artesia. His kids Jakobe and Brooke Ochoa of Roswell, NM Jayvian and Mi'Reyah Ochoa and step son Ayden Howard all of Artesia. Numerous aunts,uncles,cousins,nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by both maternal (Petra & Santiago Grado) and paternal (Julian Sr. & Delfina Ochoa) grandparents, brother Christopher Peyton, numerous uncles and cousins.
