Eulojio Dominguez

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 30, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Eulojio Dominguez, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Dominguez, 97, died Friday, December 26, 2003 in Roswell, New Mexico. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Dominguez, Jr., David Dehoyos, Rudy DeHoyos, Jerome Busano, Jaime Busano, and Alberto DeHoyos. Gabriel DeHoyos will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Monday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Mr. Dominguez was born July 3, 1906 in Redford, Texas; the son of Inocente Dominguez and Pabla Dominguez Dominguez. On December 16, 1943 he was married to Teodora Valenzuela in Presidio, Texas. They came to Artesia in 1961 from Pecos, Texas. His wife preceded him in death March 30, 1998. He was also preceded in death by daughters Josefina and Yolanda Dominguez in November 1969; and by five sisters and four brothers. He was a farmer and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews including Refugia DeHoyos of Artesia, Jose R. Dominguez of Roswell, and Anita D. Brizeno of Artesia.
