Emma Douthey

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Terpening & Son Mortuary Chapel for Emma Jean Douthey of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Douthey, 72, died November 4, 2018 in Artesia.

Chaplain Mike Adams will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Emma was born January 12, 1946 in Artesia; the daughter of Johnny and Angie (Stephens) Miller.

She was a secretary, a member of Centre Avenue Baptist Church and a past Rodeo Queen. She enjoyed doing crafts.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Douthey, her parents and sister Meann Smith.

Survivors include her son Toby Dee Bennett of Artesia; daughter Maryellen Self of Artesia; brothers Johnny Miller Jr of Artesia and John Robert Miller of California; grandchildren Dusty, Colby, Tony and Dakota; great-grandchild Jacelynn McWhirter.
