Eduvijes Cruz

Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Eduvijes De La Cruz of Artesia, New Mexico. Funeral services are scheduled at a later date in Mexico.

Mrs. De La Cruz, 80, died April 7, 2019 in Artesia.

Eduvijes was born November 7, 1938 in Valle Nuevo, Ojinaga, Mexico to Luiz De La Cruz and Lina (Duran) De La Cruz. In 1962 she married Elizardo Rodriguez. They came to Artesia in 2003 from Mexico.

She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Novellas, talking on the phone with family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elizardo, her parents, son Hector Rodriguez, 3 brothers and 10 sisters.

Survivors include her sons Carlos Rodriguez of Artesia, Alfonso Rodriguez of Artesia, Jesus Rodriguez of Mexico and Victor Rodriguez of Midland, TX; daughters Adelaida Rodriguez of Artesia, Raquel Fernandez of Midland, TX, Amavilia Gonzales of Artesia and Lupita Tesillo of Artesia; 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
