Don Mark Pearson

A graveside service will take place for Don Mark Pearson on April 11th at 10am at Twin Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cremation for Mr. Pearson is under the direct care of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Mark passed away on March 11, 2026, in Artesia. He was born on June 5, 1953, to Melvin and Joe Ann (Goodson) Pearson in Artesia.

Mark graduated from Artesia high school in 1971 and went on to attend school NMMI through 1973. Mark then settled in Lake Arthur where he worked for Deans electric for the next 31 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting with his grandchildren. He was an ardent supporter of Artesia High sports and loved to argue politics with anyone who would listen.

Mark is preceded by his father, Melvin Pearson, and brother, Lee Pearson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Joe Ann Pearson. Son, Chris Pearson and wife Trista. Their children Caeden, Ashlyn, and Dilon. His brothers Gary Pearson and wife Kim, Roger Pearson and wife Kaprice, and Barry Pearson. Nephew Brandon and wife Kristie, with children Blake and Sydney. Nephew Austin, and Niece Megan with husband Tyler and son Lucas.
