Clara Beck

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 17, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Artesia, N.M. for lifelong Southeastern New Mexico resident Clara Lou Beck, of Capitan, New Mexico. Mrs. Beck, 80, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Lea County Good Samaritan Village in Hobbs, New Mexico. Roy Puckett and Owen Puckett will officiate at the services. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Beck was born December 14, 1923 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the daughter of Roy Louis Fry and Frankie Cocke Fry. She was a licensed practical nurse and member of the Capitan Church of Christ She was preceded in death by her parents; a son David Eugene Clowe, II; a brother Roy Burton Fry; and by a sister Relda Euldene Puckett. Survivors include daughters Paula Ray Clowe of Las Cruces, N.M. and Susan Harral of Encino, N.M.; sisters Holly Oberlese of Las Cruces and Mittie Mespelt of Capitan; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
