Charles Franks Jr.

A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 am  Saturday, October 8 at Woodbine Cemetery for Charles V. Franks, Jr.

Charlie passed away on September 27, 2022 after a short illness.

Charlie was born May 2, 1963 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Lois Sinclair and Charles V. Franks, Sr.  The family moved to Artesia in 1976 where he attended Artesia Schools.

He loved to fish and loved living in the New Mexico mountains.  He worked as a contractor and journeyman for numerous years.

Pallbearers include Cody Petree, Coby and Dakota Petree, Billy Martin, Stacy Greer, and Walter Showers.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, grandparents, two sisters and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his mother Lois Wolfe; girlfriend Tina Gregg; sister Rhonda Van Curen; and also by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
