Carl Norris

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at West Main Baptist Church in Artesia, N.M. for Carl Jeffrey Norris of San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Norris, 44, died December 12, 2018 in Antarctica.

Nolan Fredrick will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Antonio Trivizo, Gabe Chavez, Greg McIntyre Jr., Dakota Bolen, Tyler Garthwaite, Chase Brown and Norman Shelton.

Carl Jeffrey was born September 8, 1974 in Artesia NM to Carl D. Norris and June Laney Norris. He lived in Artesia and Lake Arthur, graduating from Lake Arthur High School in 1993. He and Karina were married on May 27, 2000. He worked as a fire systems technician in San Antonio and Antarctica. He enjoyed traveling to new places and attending sporting events of his favorite team. He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father and by his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife Karina Norris of Lake Arthur; daughter Maya Norris of Lake Arthur; mother and step dad Dan and June Boles of Bosque Farms, N.M.; father-in-law and mother-in law Antonio and Maria Trivizo of Roswell; sisters Jennifer Rose and husband Robert of Albuquerque, N.M., and Sandra Garthwaite and husband T.J. of Artesia; brother-in-law Antonio Trivizo and wife Monica of San Antonio; nieces Hayley Hendricks, Alyssa Garthwaite, and Paloma Trivizo; nephews Dakota Bolen, Tyler Garthwaite, Chase Brown and Max Trivizo.
