Calvin Cooper

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Door of Opportunity, for Calvin Ray Cooper, 909 Bullock Ct., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Cooper, 44, died Sunday, October 16, 2005 at his home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Cooper was born August 14, 1961 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the son of Willard C. Cooper and Ima Webber Cooper. He was a lifelong area resident. He was with the Door of Opportunity for many years. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother Ima Cooper of Artesia; brother David Cooper of Hagerman, N.M.; sister Vickie Davis of Artesia.
