Bobby L Olguin, age 56, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on November 4, 2025, in Artesia, New Mexico.
Bobby was born on August 23, 1969, to Jose Angel and Fidela (Molina) Olguin in Artesia. He was the heart of his family - a devoted husband whose love never wavered, a proud father who guided with patience and wisdom, a joyful grandfather who brought laughter and light into every moment, a caring sibling, and dear friend to many.
He lived his life with a gentle heart, always putting his family first and leading with compassion, humor, and strength. Bobby had a way of making people feel seen and valued, whether through his warm smile, his caring words, or the simple acts of love he gave every day.
Bobby was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him - his laughter contagious, his love unconditional, and his presence unforgettable. Bobby was a proud and passionate Dallas Cowboy fan, who cheered for his team with loyalty and heart. When he wasn't watching football, one could find him cooking up something delicious in the kitchen or dancing to his favorite songs, reminding everyone around him that life was meant to be enjoyed. Bobby touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and free spirit.
Though his passing leaves a space that can never be filled, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Bobby's legacy lives on through the memories, lessons, and love he shared with those around him. Bobby will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave - endlessly, selflessly, and wholeheartedly.
Bobby is preceded by his father Jose Angel Olguin, mother Fidela Olguin, and brother Jimmy Olguin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Olga Olguin; his children Carlos Soto, Arnold Soto and wife Crystal, Alex Ochoa and wife Margaret, and Angelica Olguin and husband Victor; grandchildren Jannell and fiancé Beau, Jayden, Javen, AubryAnna, Julius, Azael, Xavier, Isaac, Mia, Adrian, Joel, Isaiah, and Ozzy; and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Alice Gonzales, Sylvia Smith, Adam Olguin, Jerry Marquez, Conrad Olguin, and Leroy Olguin. Bobby had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
