Billie Soderberg

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Billie Jean Soderberg of Artesia, N.M.

Mrs. Soderberg, 91, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Sunset Villa Nursing facility in Roswell, N.M.

Billie entered this world on September 1, 1928 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Orville and Nora (Blanche) Wall.

On April 8, 1948 she was married to Archie Lewis in Artesia. She later married Kermit "Swede" Soderberg on November 22, 1977 in Artesia. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings Jim Wall, Mary LaPlante, Wilda Adams and daughter Barbara Lewis.

Billie is survived by her daughters Kathryn Parsons of Artesia and Teresa Elaine Lambert and husband Mark of Huntsville, AL; her granddaughter Kelli Anne (and Brian) Barnes of Mountain Home, ID; and her great grandsons Gavin and Alex Barnes.
