A viewing will held for Beatriz Valenzuela Hernandez from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Terpening & Son Chapel with internment to immediately follow at Woodbine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fernando Valenzuela, Jr, Ben Valenzuela, Ethan Valenzuela, Jaden Valenzuela, Victor Reyna, and Kevin Penuelas. Honorary pallbearer will be Fernando Valenzuela, Sr.
Mrs. Hernandez, 66, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico. She was born on March 7, 1959, to Epigmenio and Maria Valdez Valenzuela in 6 de Octubre, Durango, Mexico.
Beatriz was a vibrant and loving soul who poured her heart into her family and home. She will be fondly remembered for her exquisite cooking, infectious love for singing, and adventurous spirit that led her to travel, particularly to Juarez, where she cherished visits with their family. A devoted homemaker, she created a warm and nurturing environment for her husband, Jesus Hernandez, and her loved ones, embodying the essence of love and comfort.
Beatriz is preceded by her father, Epigmenio Valenzuela; mother, Maria Valdez Valenzuela; sisters, Maria Fe Valenzuela,Teresa Valenzuela, Manuela Valenzuela, and Ana Alvarez; brother, Carlos Valenzuela; and brother, Alfredo Valenzuela.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jesus M. Hernandez; brothers, Fernando Valenzuela and wife, Rosemary, Epigmenio Valenzuela, and Juan Valdez; sisters, San Juana Valenzuela, Ana Valenzuela, and Claudia Valenzuela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
