Services are scheduled for 10 am Friday, October 29, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Araceli "Shelly" Veloz Pacheco of Artesia, New Mexico. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 am.
Mrs. Pacheco, 44, died on October 16, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Fr. Frances Lazar will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 1-6 pm on Thursday.
Shelly was born on March 27, 1977 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; the daughter of Luis Veloz and Yolanda Contreras Veloz.
Survivors include her husband Robert Gene Pacheco; children Michael Veloz, Andrew Veloz, Derek Gene Pacheco, Dominic Gene Pacheco, Robert Gene Pacheco Jr, Carlos Rahsaan Pacheco, and Angel Valenzuela; her parents Luiz and Yolanda Veloz; siblings Luiz Arturo Veloz Jr., and Marisol Veloz; grandchildren Alexander Veloz, Nailea Veloz, Malakai Veloz and Angel Valenzuela jr.
