Tony Q. Garcia, Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Antonio "Tony" Quesada Garcia Jr. announces his passing on December 15, 2023, in El Paso, TX. His services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia, NM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 2-6 pm, with the Rosary to follow at 6 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Woodbine Cementary. Arrangements made by Terpening and Son. 

Tony was born in Carlsbad, NM on September 2, 1961, to Antonio Jimenez Garcia and Evangelina Quesada Garcia and raised in Artesia NM. He resided in Albuquerque NM for over 25 years and worked at Intel for Brycon, as a Foreman. He recently received his Metal Sheet Journeyman License. He was a great basketball player back in his prime and he loved watching sports: basketball, football, baseball, you name it. He enjoyed having cook-outs and attending family gatherings. He loved being around his family. He was definitely the King of Dad jokes and fun to be around.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick "Paco" Quesada Garcia.

Tony will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Danielle Lynn Garcia, Michelle Lynn Ocker and Kristin Lynn Ocker, grandchildren William, Whitney and Charlee. His sisters, Beatrice Cervantez, Sally Garcia and her partner Bonnie, Monica Carrillo and her husband Rafael. His parents and all his nephews, nieces and his numerous cousins. 

His pall bearers are as follows: Christopher Patrick Dee, Gabriel Anthony Orquiz, Joshua Rey Carrillo, Daniel James Carrillo, Manuel "Manny" Perez and Joshua Lopez.
