A Memorial Service for Ana Maria Franco will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Franco, 83, passed away on September 5, 2025, in Artesia. She was born on November 1, 1941, to Manuel and Dominga (Porras) Acosta in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Ana dedicated her life to serving Jehovah and was a dedicated member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She was baptized on May 29, 1971, and her faith was a guiding light in her life. Her love for God was only rivaled by her devotion to her family. She cherished traveling and the outdoors, especially camping with loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her family and friends.
Ana is preceded by her loving husband, Paul B. Franco; parents, Manuel and Dominga Acosta; and one brother.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sandra Grado (Trinidad) of Artesia and Sylvia Sanchez (Johnny) of Silver City, NM; grandkids, Sandy Mesa (Mike) of Silver City, NM, Amos Grado (Lori) of Artesia, Antonio Grado of Artesia, Vicente Ontiveros of Rio Rancho, NM, Michael Paul Ontiveros (Christina) of Hobbs, NM, Brianna Martinez ( Danny) of Lubbock, TX, and Kenan LaPour (Austine) of Northfolk, Virginia; great grandkids, Demron Diego Grado (Jerlisha) of Artesia, Michael G. Mesa of Silver City, NM, Obediah Jax Ontiveros of Hobbs, Octavia Jade Ontiveros of Hobbs, Addison Amylia Reeves of Lubbock, TX; great great grandkid, Zachuriah Amos Grado of Artesia; brothers, Manuel Acosta (Helen) Artesia, Epimino Acosta (Gloria) of Roswell, Jesse Acosta (Emma) of Artesia, Erminio Acosta of Roswell, Salvador Acosta (Lydia) of Midland, TX, and Mack Acosta of Artesia.
