Adam Blaise
Agnew

Friday
St. Anthony's Catholic Church
2:00 - 3:00 pm (Mountain time)
Adam Blaise Agnew was born February 03, 2007 to Adam and Nancy Agnew on the feast day of St. Blaise. He left this earth to return home to his eternal Father Jesus Christ on October 11, 2026.
Blaise was a lifelong resident of Artesia, NM and a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He served his church faithfully by being an altar server every year until he graduated from high school. He can be remembered wearing his rosary around his neck daily when he was a young boy and wore his miraculous medals around his neck as he became a young man.
Blaise was a hard worker and most recently spent many days working on his grandparents’ farm helping to maintain the property and lessen the workload for his grandfather and father.
Blaise is remembered as being kind, quiet, and thoughtful. He had a gentle way about him that made those around him feel at ease. His friends remember him as being easy to talk to and always helpful when they needed him the most. Blaise had a curiosity for all things random and could impressively recite facts that kept you wondering how in the world he would know this information.
Blaise loved nature and going on long walks. It was not uncommon to see him walking the paths at eagle draw even on the hottest of days. Blaise cared about and respected the earth and had an interest in making it a better place. He was compassionate about those who were less fortunate and expressed a desire for everyone in this world to live in a better place.
Blaise is survived by his parents Adam and Nancy Agnew, siblings Gianna and Leo Agnew, maternal grandparents David and Angela Bratcher, paternal grandparent Yolanda Harwell and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him until we can all be together again. His memory will live on in those us who were blessed to know him and call him family and a friend. Blaise is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dale Agnew.
Pallbearers will be Adam Agnew, Clint Agnew, Luigi Bratcher, Jaden Bratcher, Jordan Shell and Tayden Kimbley. Honorary pallbearers will be David Bratcher and Parker Kimbley.
Viewing will be from 4 PM – 6 PM on Thursday October 15th, 2026 at Terpening & Son Mortuary. Services will be held on Friday October 16th, 2026 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The rosary will begin at 1:30 PM with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Burial will take place at Woodbine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Anthony’s Parish in Artesia, NM.
