Gladys Foster

Private family services will be held for Gladys Nell Foster of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Foster, 95, died June 14, 2019 in Carlsbad, NM.

Gladys was born March 9, 1924 in Carlsbad, NM to John Angell and Mary (McGonagil) Angell. On February 9, 1946 she married Carl C. Foster in Carlsbad. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2001. She was a lifelong area resident.

She was a bookkeeper, a member of Artesia Church of Christ and Altrusa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Curtis Foster, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a granddaughter.

Survivors include her sons Eugene Santo of Carlsbad and John Foster of Artesia; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
