Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Woodbine Cemetery for Mrs. Elizabeth "Pan" Terry of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Terry, 85, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her home.
Her grandson Kris Terry will officiate at the services.
Elizabeth was born August 7, 1933 in Dayton, N.M., the daughter of Robert C. Horner and Beatrice (Smith) Horner. She was a lifelong Artesia area resident.
On July 19, 1952 she was married to Kent Terry in Artesia. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Bob and Bill Horner.
Elizabeth was a homemaker and a ranchers' wife. She did everything that was needed at the home with her family and on the ranch in helping out Kent. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Terry of Tatum, N.M.; sons Steve Terry and wife Martha of Lovington, N.M., and Casey Terry of Artesia; sister Mary Liles of Artesia; Brother Ronald Horner and wife Patti of Artesia; grandchildren Mark Terry and wife Kathy, Dave Terry, Toby Terry, Kris Terry and wife Tanna, Rhiannon North and husband Brett, Whitney Wilhoit and husband Trace, and Sydney Colwell; great-grandchildren Drevan Powell, Kaeley, Klara, and Kendal Terry, Levi North, and Rhett and River Wilhoit; and numerous nieces and nephews.
