I just found out about Officer Fodge passing yesterday. I had the pleasure of meeting officer Dodge once and only once. He was on duty sent to my home. He was a very genuinely respectful, kind hearted and down to earth guy. He invited me and my family to visit Faith Baptist which we hadn't yet. His passing sits heavy with me, a sad reminder of how quick our journey can be. Prayers for all affected by his passing I am glad I was able to meet him.

Deputy Fodge was such an outstanding individual. So sorry for the Fodge families loss. Fodge and Sgt. Wyatt are a big reason why I’m pursuing a law enforcement career. I hope to one day be as great of a man as Fodge was.
Rest easy and be assured that your brothers have your watch, sir.

My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Fodge. I work for Eddy County in the Records department at the detentions center. I am not a correction officer, not a police officer, not a deputy, but we are still one family.
May the Lord be with you at this time of grief. May the Peace of Jesus surround you. May the Holy Spirit comfort you now and the days that follow.
