Connie was my first friend. I would stop by her house every morning and we would walk to school together. I was 5 and Connie was 6. Then we would walk home from school together. To this day, that bond is still as strong as ever. She was a wonderful person, full of Love and Compassion, and smiled liked she knew everything was going to be alright. I feel sure that Heaven made a special announcement when Connie walked through the Pearly Gates!
