Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Monday, April 8, 2019 at Terpening & Son Mortuary Chapel for Landon Blu Ortega-Mason of Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Baby Landon Ortega-Mason, 5mos, died March 30, 2019 after being taken to Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.

Emery Mann who was a youth counselor for Casey through The Church Of God as a child, will officiate at the services. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Landon was born October 30, 2018 at 7:41 am in Roswell N.M. to Jared Mason and Casey Ortega weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 & 1/2 inches long.

He was preceded in death by his Aunt Amanda D. Ortega in 2005.

Survivors include his parents Jared Wade Mason and Casey Josephine Ortega of the family home; Big Brother Evan Wade Mason; grandparents Steven Wade Mason of Carlsbad, N.M, Tammy Lynn Brewton of Las Vegas, Nevada, Manuel Ortega of Pinon, NM, and Ruby Ortega of Artesia; great-grandparents Denny Brewton of Las Vegas, and Tina Marie Ortega of Tijares, N.M.; numerous Aunts and Uncles including Crystal Lynn Pastorius of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kevin Pastorious of Reno, Nevada, Nick Pastorious of Reno, Nevada, Henry Ortega of Carlsbad, NM, Justin Ortega of Lubbock, TX, Nicole S. of Carlsbad NM and Mario Olguin currently stationed in Germany; along with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.

God Parents; Tiffany and Raylon Hodgin of Colorado.
