She met Willard Lee at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and they were married on November 9, 1950. Jessie and Willard had two children, Mitch and Cindy. She was also a big supporter of local high school sports in Elfrida and Artesia. Jessie moved to Artesia, NM to be with her daughter Cindy and family in 2014. After moving, she became a member of First United Methodist Church of Artesia.

Jessie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willard Lee; parents; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, Mitch Lee and wife Sharon of Kingston, Oklahoma; daughter Cindy Panzer and husband Danny of Artesia, New Mexico; grandchildren Dustin Lee, Heath Lee and wife Lacey, Sy Panzer and wife Amanda, and Russ Panzer; great-grandchildren Kierra Liles and husband Cameron, Kolby Mathews, Jameson Panzer, Bentley Lee, Ari Lee, and Rush Lee.

Mrs. Lee was always so friendly and sweet to everyone she met. I always thought she was such a beautiful lady, always dressed to impress with pretty nails and hair. I will truly miss seeing her at family events. Praying for all of you. Be safe.
