What can I say about Charlie that hasn't been said. Just seeing him on the street brightened your day. His sense of humor was always in play. I had the privilege of hunting with him a few times and it was the best time I've had in the field. Judy, you were blessed to have him in your life. I feel privileged to have known him for the time that I did. May God bless you and your family.

    Judy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. You were the love of his life. I first met Charles when he delivered cleaning for Fashion Cleaners for my Mom, Opal Rhyne. He was also so sweet. And I attended school with you, Judy. You two were made for each other. God now has a wonderful angel to watch over us. My love to you and your family.

We offer our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Judy and all the family in this time of sorrow. Artesia has lost a very kind hearted man and an ambassador of the true meaning of what makes Artesia a wonderful place to live. He spread warmth and friendship to each and everyone he came in contact with and left a cheerful feeling with you at the end of your visit with him. He was always ready to help in anything a person may have needed....and always with a great attitude .....This will be one that will be missed by so many for a long time....Artesia lost an outstanding man ......Rip Mi amigo....

I did not know Charlie but a short 5-10 years but only as an acquaintance. My fondest memory of Charlie was before his mother had passed, he would park at Jamaica Park and walked with the pug(s) around the park. The neighborhood cats had become their friends and would walk around the park with them as he gifted them with snacks. It was like Pied Piper. Such a heart of gold. Prayers to Judy and the family during this sad times.

Judy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you deal with Charlie's sudden departure. I never saw him that he wasn't smiling, and every time I saw him, he always asked about my mom. He was such a kind and caring person. I pray that God comfort you as only He can, and that your memories will sustain you during this difficult time. God bless you.

    Judy,
I have nothing but good to say about Charlie! Started years ago with the Family Fasitch Softball Team, then The Hawks, then just a great friend. Man, he could swing that bat like nobody else. We've all been blessed to know him and you! You two were quite a team. And Trudy, he's always been so proud of you.
    Our prayers for you all!

Everybody who met Charlie, liked him. I will always remember the pug and the cat story, it showed how much Charlie loved animals. I loved playing softball with him, He was a joy to be around. Thinking of you all.

Judy I was so shocked to hear about Charlie, It truly breaks my heart for you and his entire family. I feel like I've known him my whole life. When he was coming over to Jamaica park I started calling him the cat whisperer because all of the cats came running to see him as soon as he got there. He always made you feel like he was truly glad to see you. You will all be in my thoughts during this sad time.
